Chinnu: An ivory checkered Ganga Yamuna saree with turquoise blue on one border and red on the other. Cheerful yet calm, soft yet striking - it feels so much like Chinnu, who introduced this saree last year and carried it with so much grace. Naming it after her as a dedication and my token of love.
This year, the combination is the opposite, with turquoise on the top part. I draped it too this year because some pieces just stay with you, like memories you never want to let go of. Please note again that turquoise is on the top, and red at the bottom.
This saree is really soft and easy to handle. Dyed exclusively for Yarn Culture's Onam Edit.

All these sarees are hand crafted & though efforts have been made to avoid any defects, there might be slight imperfections in the weave or pattern or colours. Few thread pulls are common in these sarees.
These sarees are dyed and dried in sunlight. Colour smudges are quite common in sungudi sarees.
Care: Hand Wash or Dry wash
Gentle hand wash separately in cold water with mild/liquid detergents, excess natural colors may bleed when washed for the first time. Avoid soaking for too long.
These sarees are made up of pure and fine threads so avoid using machine wash.
