This variation is an intentional part of the design and does not affect the final look when draped. There will be no visible protrusion at the hem, and the extra inches remain neatly tucked at the waist, ensuring the saree falls effortlessly and maintains a seamless flow.
These sarees are dyed and dried in sand under sunlight. Colour and sand smudges are quite common in sungudi sarees. Colour will bleed as these are dyed. Lightly starched.
