Black and gold has its own quiet magic. Karumani brings that classic pairing alive the first half in deep, plain black, flowing into a ginger-yellow pavithra kattam second half, finished with a graceful peacock motif border.

Wear it either way…black first or yellow first, it still feels complete, like two petals of the same flower.

These sarees are thoughtfully crafted by stitching together fabrics of slightly varying heights - for instance, the pallu may measure 44 inches while the body and pleats measure 47 inches. This variation is an intentional part of the design and does not affect the final look when draped. There will be no visible protrusion at the hem, and the extra inches remain neatly tucked at the waist, ensuring the saree falls effortlessly and maintains a seamless flow.

These sarees are dyed and dried in sand under sunlight. Colour and sand smudges are quite common in sungudi sarees. Colour will bleed as these are dyed. Lightly starched.
