When fully pressed, the saree measures around 50 inches in width. To retain the beauty of the drape, the pallu portion is kept crushed, while the second half of the saree is roll-pressed. If you prefer a uniform width throughout, you can fully press the saree.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePlease iron on low heat and always on the back side of the saree, especially around the zari pallu, to help maintain its finish and texture.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA small note on colour bleeding : since this is a handcrafted saree and dyed using traditional methods, slight colour bleeding in the first few washes can happen. This is completely normal and not a defect. It settles over time with proper care.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAlso, you may notice a few knots left untied in some parts of the saree. This is intentional and a beautiful part of the Bandhej craft.
